Challenging himself in more dramatic, less action-oriented roles, Diesel has also dabbled in serious roles such as real-life New Jersey mobster Jackie DiNorscio in Sidney Lumet’s legal thriller Find Me Guilty, Private Caparzo in the World War II drama Saving Private Ryan and the titular robot in The Iron Giant.
